pro 106 slow

i had my both the pro 90 and pro 106 running on fleetnet and i noticed that the pro 106 is slow to pick up some transmissions it will pick up the transmisson half way through or it will pick up at the end. i have noticed on the moh talk groups and mto at this point is there anything in the settings that i can change to fix this

went on win500 and check the settings i took off flexstep and checked the subauditable start delay and it is set at 150 would the subauditalbe start delay be the cause of my problem?

You def don't need FlexStep... Not sure what else you could tinker with. How many systems are you trying to scan? Also make sure you don't have any of the priority, weather alert or signal stalker feature on.

hi forts i am scanning fleetnet and edacs most of the time and once in a while if they are quiet i will put on MPSCS to listen to port huron area and for conv i get the ems pager sarnia fire simplex and cveco the pri and the wx alert is off but i am not sure how to check if the signal stalker feature is off or not

How did u get a pro 90 to trunk fleetnet?? Its an 800mhz trunker only.
Or u mean conventional listening?

I found the pro90 one of the fastest most reliable trunkers but then again its only doing 1 system at a time and everything is very basic not a ton of other functions and features to slow it down.

i just programed the voice channels and listen as conventional can't get opp but it hold me off untill i got the pro 106

so the pro-90 is on conventional mode and the pro-106 was in trunking mode or conventional mode when you were observing thier speed?

when i listen to the 106 in scan mode i noticed open mic the same when i lock into the ems talkgroup and just listen to them. so i turned on my pro 90 and listen voice channels conventional and noticed the full transmission on the pro 90

another info i tried to input the voice channel into the pro 106 and listen to them as conventional same thing i think it may be the dsp on the way it decodes the transmission?
