To make this simple to begin with - where are you? What system are you trying to hear? You gave no info on that, nor did you put it in your user info, so there's a 0% chance of anyone being able to help for now...

It sounds like they use a "trunked" system

I looked at the database and your city is on the Atlantic county trunked system. Atlantic County Trunking System, Mays Landing, New Jersey - Scanner Frequencies

site:019 Brigantine 851.82500-----852.25000------852.82500-----853.60000-----853.20000

You need to program those 5 freqs in that order in a bank of your choosing, however it has to start on the first channel in the bank, meaning 001, not 000

Once you program the freqs correctly, hit your scan button it should pick up everything fine.

If you set up the system in it's own bank (which I would) you should turn off all the other banks so it's only scanning the county system

By looking at a picture the 107 seems vastly different than the 164 i based these instructions on so the process might be different for you, but you will need those 5 freqs programmed correctly

This appears to be an EDACS trunked system so you must program your scanner as such. If you simply have the frequencies programmed in as conventional, what you describe will generally happen. The database indicates that they system also supports ProVoice digital as well, which can't be decoded using any current scanner. Since the Brigantine entries indicate standard analog, you may be OK once the scanner is programmed correctly though.

Thanks this helps big time, but does anyone know how to go about doing this on a pro-107 scanner?

When you go to the state than county than go to SITE,that is closest to your location, than back to talkgroups that you want and choose them and put them in their own playlist.Remember to always UNCHECK playlist one and select another as you are doing this.If not everything goes to the default playlist one.REname your playlists to end confusion ,when adding or deleting channels.

Load the Iscan software on a computer with a SD card reader.
Take the SD cars out of the scanner and put it in the card reader.
under SDcard," copy configuration from SD card"
Under Updates, use the "check for library update"
Write the updated library to the SD card
the program will also update your playlists
put SD card back into scanner

Happy scanning
