pro 197 HELP PLEASE

I have a pro197 I bought from RS and I just need help in programming it. I just want to listen to a couple of the freq. not all of them from the entire area. I took it to radio shack and they downloaded from a display and it has all surrounding cities as well as the ones I want. I ONLY WANT TO LISTEN TO TWO OF THEM CAN ANYONE HELP ME. You can turn on and off the different banks by pressing the bank number for the ones below 11, use the 0 for bank 10, and press the "FUNC key then the bank number, use 0 for bank 20, to eliminate the banks from 11 to 20 with traffic you do not want to listen to.

The easiest way to program and operate that scanner is with either PSREdit or WIN500 Software which you can get from here.

For a list of all the frequencies and Talkgroups for Weatherford and other agencies in Parker County you can either use the database on RR for Parker County or you can go to Scanning Parker County | Amateur Radio Club of Parker County
This is the website for The Amateur Radio Club of Parker County. We meet the second Tuesday of each month at the Weatherford Community Center. The time is 700pm. I use PSREdit to program my PSR-500 and it is very easy to use. Win 500 is also another good software program that you could use. They both have 30 days free trial. I think they are about $35 to purchase.
