I've had a Pro 2035 for a number of years but I haven't used it for a while. I also installed an OS535 card in it. The scanner still works fine and hopefully so does the interface card. When I used it back then, it was a great scanner. The problem is I'm not sure what software to use that is compatible with Windows XP. Back then I used Windows 3.1 and I believe the software was DOS-based.

Can anyone tell me what software I can use that's compatible with Windows XP and what type of connection do I need to my PC? I have a 20-047 connector that I use with my Pro-528, will that work for the Pro 2035?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I had one of those scanners once. I never had the OS535 card in it, but I believe it requires a serial to serial cable. There is this software that costs $59.95:

But it looks like you might have some trouble unless you use Windows 3.1...

The 20-047 cable is for newer scanners and radios with an 1/8" phone jack for programming. I don't think it will work with your OS535 card, but I could very well be wrong.

I just found that Scancat can program your scanner and I believe it is Windows 2000/XP based. Check them out here:

Cool thing is you can download demos from there and try them out to see if they work...
