PRO-2096 and 96 Software

I have programmed two PRO-2096 scanners recently for co-workers. Both had 1.0 software. Do any of the newer PRO-2096 or PRO-96s come from the factory with the latest software?

The Pro-2096 I just purchased had 1.3 - 1.4 is the latest available on RS website.
