Hi,
Just thought I would pass along some information regarding an audio issue I had with my Pro-2096.
The scanner is still great and operates pretty well on P-25 systems. The issue I had was a constant background noise on analog systems. There was a low-level noise that sounded like wind blowing across a microphone. I have heard that with field units and it is expected. The problem I had was I started hearing this on any analog system; P-25 digital was fine.
Finally, I reverted from DSP update 1.4 to 1.3 (the previous version). Now everything is back to normal and sounding fine. My CPU version is 1.3 on this particular scanner.
Maybe my experience can help others.
