look i need some help bad i followed all the below instuction to enter the new westchester count truck system in my scanner and it still does not work. the only thing i have not done is talk goups yet help help please
1. Select the trunking programming mode.
2. Press the number key of the bank where you want to store the
base frequency.
3. Press or to select Motorola Type II UHF or VHF system, then
press E/PGM.
4. Press up or down (arrows) to select bASE, then press E/PGM.
5. Press the confi guration Block Number (1-3) . Should be 1 on the North System
6. Press the number keys to enter a new base frequency, then
press E/PGM. That is 470.0
7. Press . The display changes to spacing-frequency entry mode.
8. Enter the frequency using the number keys according to the
following guide, then press E/PGM.
• For Motorola Type II VHF (E2-VHF Hi band) use 5kHz steps
between 5 kHz – 100 kHz.
• For Motorola Type II UHF (E2-UHF band) use 12.5kHz steps
between 12.5 kHz – 100 kHz. It's a UHF Type II The Step will be 12.5
9. Press . The display changes to the offset channel entering
mode.
10. Enter an offset channel using the number keys, then press
E/PGM. You can only input the frequency between 380 – 759.
The offset will be 380
11. Press . /CLR /DELAY. The scanner returns to the previous
screen. Repeat steps 5-10 if you want to program another
confi guration.
and it still does not work on this site is the lest for the new system and are they base ?? or offset frequecies or what ???
