Pro-433 & Pro-528

Anyone out there purchased the new Radio Shack PRO-433 or PRO-528 yet? They look like the PRO-97/2055 models, but appear to be made by Uniden instead of GRE. The features are similar. The PRO-97 is on sale again for $149. and I can't find any reference on the Radio Shack web site to the PRO-2055 anymore. I am also curious about programming software for these new models and its availability. In the past Radio Shack has said software was available for their scanners when in fact none was available.

Programming can be down with scancat.
As far as featuers between the 97 and the 528, the 97/2055 have text tags..

BTW, it looks like the 2055 is back in stock, or will be back in stock the next couple of days, so expect to see it on radioshack's website again soon.

I have a PRO-433. They are made by Uniden, Japan. Uniden America doesn't know anything about them. The 433 and 528 can be cloned together.
The advantage of a PRO-433 over a PRO-97 is the PRO-433 can be upgraded for the 800MHz rebanding, the PRO-97 can not.

Yeah, maybe you'll send your Pro-97 for the update and get a Pro-528 in return...

Your PRO-433/PRO-528 software looks OK, but I would like to see examples of trunking, Scan Lists, etc. Lots of variables like EDACS, AFS format, Mot. I , II & Hybrid, CC Only, etc.

Anyone get a PRO-528 yet? I'm interested to know if it will get I-Calls at all. The manual has several holes in it, so I was hopeful. If it's just a PRO94B update, then it may not.
