I am getting a Pro-433 scanner here in a few days. I want to be able to leave my scanner on while I'm at school and be able to record all the transmissions that come in, so I can listen them later. How can you record transmissions from a Pro-433 scanner? Is a special computer software needed? Your help greatly appreciated.

Can I get a step-by-step on how to do recordings? I've given it a try and can't seem to figure it out. How do I connect my Pro-433 to my computer and set it to record transmissions on a set talkgroup? I have the following PC Interface cable: http://www.radioshack.com/product/i...052.2032075.2032078.2032099&parentPage=family
I am also using the software that W5JSS provided a link to.

That cable is for programming the 433 via your computer using ARC433 or ScanCat software. It has nothing to do with recording.
To record, use an audio cable from the audio output jack on the 433 rear panel to the audio input jack on your computer. The Davee program will record the sound coming through the cable. Select the Talk Group ID on the 433 that you want to record and put the 433 on HOLD.
