Im not having any luck. Have programed freqs and Ids.When I lockout ids that I dont want to here it doesn't seem to matter Im keep receiving everyone

I programed the 800 mhz into the scanner.
The scanner stops on some of the 800 mhz then beep beep beep no voice?
Did i do something wrong?
I am not sure what to do with the DEC or The AFS.
I need to figure out how to get my local police dept went here for info.

It may not be trunk-tracking, just scanning the freqs. Follow the step by step programming instructions in FILES section of the PRO-433 group.

Those are the Talk Groups. Again, the PRO-433 group info. will explain trunking and will tell you how to enter those Talk Groups. I would use the AFS format. Read page 28 of the manual for an explanation about AFS format.

Your description indicates the system is EDACS. Make sure you are programming the scanner for an EDACS trunked system with the frequencies in logical channel number (LCN) sequence. The freq for 01 is entered in freq slot 1 (example: Bank 9, Channel 1 - 901), the freq for 02 is entered in freq slot 2, etc.
