What kind of scanner is he Pro-433. Want to buy a scanner but still confused.

The Pro-433 is made by Uniden for Radio Shack. It is an anolog trunk tracking scanner. It does not have text tagging capability. If you plan to monitor convetional anolog frequencies or anolog trunked systems, it should work fine for you. Welcome to RR.
