Pro-91 Volume Issue

Hello,
I recently bought a pro-91, and I am having issues with the volume. It just doesn't get loud! I thought it was the speaker, but after replacing it, it sounds the same! When an external speaker is plugged into the headphone jack, it sounds fine. Any suggestions?

Sounds like you've narrowed it down. Bad contacts on the headphone jack, a defective component between the headphone jack and speaker. Also check PCB traces and solder joints.

Well.......

I think I fixed it, or rigged it. How ever you want to look at it. I soidered the speaker leads to the headphone jack on the board. The speaker now works great. It even shuts of the internal speaker when you plug in headphones!

Mine's doing the same after it was dropped how did you get it apart?
