PRO-93 and EDACS

I just purchased a PRO-93 Scanner on ebay , and I live here RACOM - IL, WI, MN, NE, SD, IA Trunking System, Various, Multi-State - Scanner Frequencies . Will this scanner work? or did I just buy a 40 dollar paperweight in my region?

Scanner will work on EDACS. But, since you gave a generic point to the RACOM system. We can't help with a specific area. If it has an 'A', you'll hear it. If it has a 'D', you won't. If your area is ProVoice, you won't hear anything. Just thought I'd stir the mud a little for you

Have mine set up like that also but u can't get anymore.

There is a note in the RR database suggesting they may have changed to P25 digital.
