PRO-94 programming for Charlestown, IN

I am a newbie trying to program my Radio Shack PRO-94 scanner to Charlestown Indiana's new frequencies. Charlestown is in Clark County. From what I have read it is a trunked Motorola Type II system. I followed the instructions in the manual on entering the frequencies and still can't pick up any conversations from Charlestown Police. Can anyone give me a step by step on what I have to do to program this to receive the Charlestown Police Dept. or is it even possible with this model? Does the mode being "D" mean that Charlestown is Digital? If that is the case I'm guessing that the PRO-94 is an analog only scanner and that could be my problem?

it sure sounds like you do indeed need a digital trunktracker. However the 94 will work on most all the freqs on this page. Note however that it can't trunktrack the 2 LTR systems at the bottom of the page, as the 94 isn't set up for LTR.

I would go to the Indiana forum and discuss which models work best on Safe-T there.
