In the car, my PRO-95 is mounted as shown in the photo link.
Driving around the city, when near some Nextel/cell phone sites, the interference to our trunking system is so bad that it completely overpowers the signal. The solution, of course, is to use the attenuator, but by the time I find the right key, etc. I'm past the interference. A better solution that works 99% of the time is to simply grab the antenna and my left hand becomes an instant attenuator.
