Pro 95 & Freescan

Hi to all !!
I just got a Pro 95. I also got the programing cable
I can't get Freescan to recognize the Pro 95.
Freescan should recognize the 95 shouldn't it ?
Any ideas ? Thanks.

Freescan supports only Uniden scanners, the PRO95 is a Radio Shack / GRE made scanner.

The Freescan software is no longer being supported or developed.

Supported scanners are listed right on the top of the web page. Unfortunately no RS models are supported...



Perhaps consider Staffsoft Win95 for your Pro 95. It worked well when I owned one decades ago. No updates have been released since 2003 so I'm not sure how it will run on today's system architectures

Lastly, this is the Uniden Tech Support forum. I'd strongly recommend posting further Pro 95 inquiries to the RadioShack forum

Win95 programming software is still available here: Software for RadioShack PRO-series (PRO-92, 93, 95, 96, 97, 99, 163, 164, 106, 197, 651, 652), Whistler (WS1040, WS1065), and GRE PSR-series (PSR-500, 600, 300, 400, 310, 410) scanners
