Pro-95 Knox Co. Trunking Problem

Hello Folks,

Been away from scanning for a little while and recently fired up the Pro-95 here in Knoxville (Ftn. City). I am having a problem in that the Pro-95 keeps hanging on talk group ID 08800 - seems like a data signal. Locking out this talk group doesn't help, attenuation on same result. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

i lock it out on psr 500

I had a "data" channel for fire here that does the same thing. Just lock it out!

Just locking it out won't do it.
On a Pro 95, you have to scan the system in Closed Mode and lock it out there.
When scanning in Open Mode, it does not matter if you lock out a talkgroup or not. It will still stop on ALL talkgroups.

That is strange, I listen to Knoxville city and knox co PD everynight on pro106 and gre300 and have never had that issue.Does it give a freq. # or just group ID 08800 I'm now getting 793. & 794. freqs. with knoxville PD and some cab co.but still nothing like that.

Thanks Danny. Worked like a charm. Tested it out using the instructions you posted manually and then went back into Win95 and noticed there is a check box for "closed" in the bank information column. I'm sure I'll need you guys help when digital gets going - if it hasn't already...
