PRO 95 Replacement Speaker (Internal)

Hi, anyone know where I can get an internal replacement speaker for my PRO 95 scanner? I've tried ordering part #'s 12357760, SP90323 but I'm told they are no longer in exhist ! Maybe the speaker for the PRO 96 is the same (or close)? I think part # 11717485 / SP00003 would work ? Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks

Even though some models use different part numbers; I would be very surprised if the speakers in the following scanners are not identical: PRO-93, PRO-95, PRO-96, PRO-97. Certainly if you try to order parts for the '95, most, if not all are not available. But you can order them for the '96 & '97. I've ordered quite a few things for a '97 that fit a '95 just fine.

Thanks gmclam, I went by my local ratshack an ordered a 11717485 / SP00003 speaker ($11.89 + $3.50 shipping + $1.24 in tax = $16.63 Total) that will eventually show up at my door, for the PRO 96. When I receive it (of course it was back-ordered and will take 3 to 6 weeks) I'll post back weather it's the same speaker or not. Looking at the 2 scanners side by side I'd say it should be very close, if not identical. Happy Trails ...............................

Were the speakers the same. Or does anyone else know. I also need a new speaker for a PRO-95.

I just replaced one for a friend. I used the speaker from an old GMRS/FRS portable. It actually seems louder than the original.
Note that it is very difficult to remove the PRO-95 speaker. It is held in place with strong adhesive.
