Does anyone know if or how this would effect programming the Pro-96 (if at all) ??

I don't believe the Pro-96 understands "zones" correct ?

I currently have all the Primary and secondary control channes programmed in as well as the current talk groups.

New in the DB...
The new zone C727, is Active, and talkgroups are moving into the new zone, once all talkgroups are in the new zone, 4b16 will no longer be the system ID.
Troops that are in the new Zone: B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, K, W.
Troops in old zone: L, A.

Thanks

you don't say if you have all the Zones loaded into one bank. If so, as long as you added the newest zone, C727 Zone 4, Troop H, you should hear all the Zones providing:
- the talkgroup is allowed on the zone you are monitoring AND,
- there is a CSP radio affiliated on the zone and talkgroup you wish to hear, AND
- The Pro-96 allows multiple Zones in one bank (Unidens will not allow simultaneous multiple zone reception in the same bank/system)

Using a Pro-2096 and a 96,I drive through southern Indiana (I-64) at times and use Zone 3 Green and 4 Blue successfully. Both have different SysID's. System is SAFE-T

The Pro-96 will accept multiple systems in the same bank as long as you separate them with a blank channel.
