Pro-96 availability

This may have already been mentioned, but I couldnt find the pro-96 on radioshack's website. Where have their digital scanners gone and what options are there if they don't sell them anymore?

They must be, I couldn't find it either. They had the PRO-97 AND the BC-396 and 996, but not the PRO-96.

Another interesting thing is the list of scanner types. They only say they only have ONE digital scanner, the 996. HMMM????? I wonder what the 396 is????

I read that the Pro-96 was going on sale to $349 maybe they are updating the site to reflect that?

It was on there site just this weekend dont know what happened. The 96 was 349 and the 2096 was 379 You might try to call the 800 number. It stated that the sale was on until Dec. 15.. Hoser

I called a store in Nashville, TN this a.m. and was told the scanner was on sale for $349.00 until 12/15.

Our local Shack has them in the store. ON SALE for $349.oo until December 15th.

I know a guy who bought TWO of them today!!!

Correct the current sale runs until 12/15, Saturday night. I could not get the scanners to come up today either. I think they may be having site issues, as some other parts weren't showing up right either.

I got a pro-96 the day before Thanksgiving for the $349.00 price. The sale was not advertised very well. There were two locations for the scanners in the store, one was the normal display, which showed the orginal price. The sale price was listed on a very tiny red sticker on the peg board where there were empty boxes hanging. I'm glad I have good eyes.

No, it is a screw up on the shacks site again. If you look you will notice that it only shows 2 radio shack scanners.

I just checked @11:27am on12/12 the 96 is back on the site
