In a sub-group how do I manually change the channel. For instance if I get a call on So. Adams main channel and what to go to the op's channel how do I do this ? Does the scanner have to be in closed or open mode ??

You need to hit PGM, TRUNK, and then navigate to the channel that you want to stay on by hitting TRUNK to get to a different sub-group (sub-bank), and then the arrows to get to the channel you want. Then hit FUNC, TRUNK. It doesn't matter if the scanner is in closed, or open mode as long as you have then channel that you want programmed in your radio.
