Hello,

I am thinking of purchasing a Pro-97 scanner, which is on sale for $150.

My question is this...I am hoping to program a EACDS networked standard 900MHz. system that's used by a local transit system. I would like to program in the tower that's closest to me and I was wondering if I have to program all of those tower's frequencies or just the one control one to hear the entire system, there's about 15 talkgroups in the system and I don't want to monitor just one talkgroup but all talkgroups while scanning through the system, do I program all tower freq. or just the control, here's a link to the page of the system in the RR database:

http://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?sid=1979 The cleveland tower is the closest to me.

Is this system even trackable?

Thanks,

I'm not sure about the intricacies of a 900 MHz "networked" system, but in general you need to put in all the freqs. in an EDACS system and they MUST be in LCN (Logical Channel Number) order. In the system you want they are in channels 1 through 6. Some systems skip channels. DO NOT START IN CHANNEL ZERO.
If you use bank 1, start in channel 101.
101 935.65000* 102 936.96250 103 937.40000 104 937.50000 105 939.16250 106 939.18750
