Pro-97 on sale

Just checked RS site-97 is on sale for 150-I'm taking my receipt in and asking for the difference refunded. Supposed to be able to do that within 30 days of sale-let you all know how I make out. (bought mine on 5/15)

Well, I returned the receipt and got a credit with no problems... used the difference to get another Pro-97. Gotta have that backup, you know! :lol:

I was thinking about purchasing a Pro 97 at the sale price. Does anyone know if it does PL tones? And if it does do they pop up instantly like they do on the PRO 2067?

Yes, the PL/DPL pops up quick on the 97/2055.

Thanks dave. Wish i had never sold my Pro 2067 at a hamfest. I think i will be picking one up this afternoon.

The 2067 was a nice rig. If it had the version 1.00 firmware to survive Motorola Re-banding I would have kept mine.
