I have a pro-97, how does the signal stalker work? I understant that its supposed to pick up active frequencies that is nearby but I noticed that while it scans the last numbers stay the same (I know there is a term for the last numbers but I dont know what it is example .xxxx) it will go from 300.-500. real fast but it either says on .250 or .500 why?

It's not actually staying on those frequencies, it just searches so fast that it probably doesn't have time to update the display as it searches. So those frequecies are being scanned, it's just happening so fast that it doesn't show on the display. :)

Signal Stalker

Think of a frequency counter with a tuned amplifer feeding it, that's Signal Stalker. The PRO-97 will tune to a range of frequencies, look for a signal, and move on if nothing is detected. If a signal is detected, it measures the frequency and tunes to it.
