I new to this scanner and am still figuring it out. Some of the built in ranges work (scan) in srch mode some don't.

SR0 Marine - sits on Channel 16 MAN - I think I may have done something here
SR1 CB Band - sits on Channel 01 Man. Pretty sure I didn't press any keys here.
SR2 FRS/GMRS/MURS sites on Channel 01
SR3 Police/Fire ---Works Great!
SR4 Aircraft ---Workst Great!
SR5 Amateur Bands ---Workst Great!
SR6 Limit Search - I put in the range for Baby monitors - and it works great

I've squelched max and min.

Can someone help me out figuring why it isn't scanning for some groups?
Thanks,
Mike

Found the answer

"Func" - then "srch" swaps from manual to search mode!

But if I go to a different bank or leave and comeback, Marine mode always reverts to MAN mode. The others stay in seach mode.

Those searches are set up in channel form to check the individual channels hit the up/down arrows, to start a search using the VFO hit (F)unct Search.

That's just the way the Pro-97 works in SR0/Marine you must always start the search manually

The PRO-97/2055 are held on Marine Ch. 16 until you use the F+Search as mentioned. On the FRS/GMRS/MURS or CB search, whatever channel you park on is displayed, or it can be put into F+Search mode.
