I want to know if you can program a pro 97 to be like a fire pager. What I mean is for it to alert you like when the weather alerts you with the "SAME" alert. This is an example

tones are:

1669.0 hz and 108.2 hz

No, that's not possible with the PRO-97. However, the more expensive Unidens can, like the BCD396T, and the 996T.

SAME is the Weather alert
And Ctss tones DC Tones ar meant to Eliminate Interference and the Likes
I HIGHLY recomen Either the BCD396T or its Brother the BCD996T

Yes it has it BUT its a waste of a good scanner since you can not scan or do anything else while in tone-out standby mode.
