I did a quick search in this forum, but I didn't come up with an answer.

I picked up a used PRO-99 for conventional monitoring and frequency sniffing, and so far it seems to be a great radio.

My question is that although I can enter in something like 155.7525, I cannot enter any fed frequencies like 165.2875. The manual seems to indicate that I should be able to enter that frequency, but I can't seem to get the scanner to take it, as it defaults to 165.285.

Any ideas?

Tried putting in a local frequency in that range. It defaults to the 5Khz step. My 163 and 106 will do those steps. Not part of the firmware in the 99.
