Program Pro 97

I have spent much time on this website trying to figure out how to program my Pro 97 scanner, but have not had much luck. I just downloaded the free Win 97 software (30 day trial) and have the orange programming cable. I just have no idea how to put the frequencies into the Win 97 program so that I can put it onto my scanner. Can someone help me with this process? I am somewhat overwhelmed at the moment.

I am looking to program Fire/EMS and PD channels in West Des Moines, IA and surrounding areas. Any help would be appreciated.

I would go and get a premium subscription to this site; you can then use our database to populate Win97 with all the freqs you need. Just go up right under the Scanner Master ad, float your mouse over About then select Our Premium Services

Alternately go to our Iowa forum and ask for a .p97 (that's the file extension Win97 uses) file for your area

As an aside, sometimes it helps to have the manual instructions so you can better understand what you are doing with the software. Try reading the online manual found below...(note: all links are in blue)
