when adding frequencies for trunked systems, in my opinion OPP in ontario, specifically OPS1 areas, am I supposed to add all the frequencies (towers) available or just the ones that are or will be local to be during commutes and at home. I am wondering if it is wasting time scanning through towers that are far out of range or if the scanner scans fast enough that I really wouldn't notice anyway.

I believe you only need to add the towers of interest to you, but you might want to confirm in the Eastern Canada Radio Discussion Forum

There's a Fleetnet programming guide in the Eastern Canada discussion section which will get you up and running.

I've got it running no problem, I just have every tower programmed in... not sure if I should delete ones I would never really be in range of...

As soon as the scanner finds an active control channel, it doesn't scan anything. It makes no difference if you have one or fifty frequencies programmed.
