It isn't the [F/W] key on the VX-150. It is just the [F] key on the bottom right of the keypad.

On most other Yaesu radios it is [F/W] but not on the VX-150.

Hope this helps.

I thought of that, but it says to hit the [F] key, then the [F/W] key, which has me stumped.

I also thought that it maybe ment hit the fuction key and some 'W' key at the same time, but no W key either, not even the side buttons under the PTT.

Here is the manual. http://www.dxzone.com/cgi-bin/dir/jump2.cgi?ID=11816

Bottom of page 19

?Recall the memory channel on which you wish to append a label.
‚Press the [F] key, then press the [0(SET)] key, to enter the Menu mode.
ƒRotate the DIAL to select Menu #1 (“ALPHA”).
„Press the [F] key to enable changing of this Menu item.
…Press the [F] key, then press the [F/W] key again, to begin entry of the Label.
†Rotate the DIAL to select the first digit of the desired label. When you have made your
selection, press the key momentarily to move to the next character.

I have several Yaesu radios. I am pretty sure you just need to hit the [F] key again. I have looked at the manual from the Yaesu website and sometimes they say hit the [F] key again and sometimes they say hit the [F/W] key. I am pretty sure it is just a typo on Yaesu's part.

If that doesn't work, you may try calling Yaesu directly.
