Programming NX-340-P Ver 2.0

I need to turn on Voice Announcement.

NX-340-P Ver 2.0 and KPG-170D 3.03

I am able to do Transceiver Information:

NX-340
V3.09.00
NXDN Type-D Trunking

When I try to read:

Ensure that Model Name and Market Code are correctly entered.

The radio has an IC:282D-443801 so it is a Canada model.
KPG-170D came from the radio dealer.

Obviously something is wrong, this is a new radio model for us so I had to trust the salesman it the correct software...

Which KPG sould I be using?

Did you buy it in Canada in other words?

Okay, Canada kenwood is a pain dealing with as far as software goes. Need to get with the local kenwood dealer and confirm. Sounds like you got US software.

That would not surprise me, however I thought there was only NA & EU types.

you should try KPG 169D thats the Programming software of NX-340

Thank you, KPG-169D worked, despite the Kenwood sales brochure and the dealer sales staff insisting that I needed KPG-170D.

Yous said CANADA so you used 169D if you have protalk then used 170D
