I have a BCD396 and a paid version of ARC396. Last February I installed Proscan and tried it out. It was also uninstalled.

Now I have downloaded Proscan 17 and it will not let me run it for my new SDS200 because it says my 30 day trial has expired. I did find an old Proscan directory (from February 2020) and deleated it. I then uninstalled Proscan 17 and reinstalled it....it still won't let me run it!

Any Suggestions?

You're way beyond the 30-day trial. The next step is to buy it. When you pay for it you will receive the activation information so you can continue to use it. You don't get a new 30-day trial with each new update.

Purchase it?

Well worth the investment....

Actually I like ARC396 better for my old scanner but I want to try it before I buy it! Maybe I will try the ARC536 instead. I sent their support an email but I'm still waiting.

This is to be expected since February 2020 was way more than 30 days ago...

So should we expect another thread from you when your Arc536 trial expires too? :ROFLMAO: But in all seriousness, there is no better software to run with your Uniden radios than Proscan. I've been a happy user for about 10 years now & Bob is extremely responsive on these forums if ever you need a helping hand. $50.00 gives you unlimited, frequent updates and it's jam packed with cool features the other app developers don't offer

There is a way but I don't know how to delete the information that won't let you run a new copy. It is in a hidden file not easily found or possibly in the registry. Don't mess around in the registry unless you know what you are doing. I've fowled up to many computers to try again.
I use Proscan for my BCD996P2. I program a few NXDN systems. Frankly $50 for lifetime updates is well worth it. How many programs do you have to pay for everytime there is an update or a new version?
