Read through several other posts pertaining to ProScan RSOIP. My problem does not match others' issues. Web server works, no issues except latency. Stopped webserver, started rsoip in server mode. Existing port is seen, so is a new port number that I tried. I'm using a different port for RSOIP than Web Server. I can start and run RSOIP in Server Mode, but cannot connect remotely or locally - timeout error in the browser. Also tried running RSOIP in Client Mode but it won't run and generates the error "Client Stopped (Sever Not Responding Code 1)" in ProScan. All using Windows 11, HP PC, and Xfinity router/gateway. Not sure why I can't get the RSOIP to work. I've tried changing the port forwarding between TCP and TCP/UDP with no improvements. Need suggestions please!

timeout error in the browser.
Browsers works only with the Web Server feature. Use ProScan in the RSOIP Client mode (or the Free Client) to connect with RSOIP in the Server mode. The 1st step would be getting the Client locally to connect with the server. Use the inside address on the client. After the client works locally then you want to try it remotely. You will need the Router Port Forwarding setup using the following: 1) TCP(or TCP/UDP) 2) IP address of the computer running the server. 3) Port # the server is using.
Use https://canyouseeme.org/ to test the router port forwarding setup. The server needs to be running for this test.
If canyouseeme sees the server then try remotely using the remote IP address.

On the latency issue with the Web Server feature. Try WinAmp. Last I checked mine, latency was about 3-1/2 seconds. You may have to adjust the latency/network buffer.

This is where Im getting confused. For RSOIP do I use the SDS200 URL?
The SDS200 URL is a separate type of connection. A connection from the SDS200 Ethernet to ProScan. You are trying to use the RSOIP feature to connect the client to the server. Right? Don't worry about the SDS200 Ethernet connection unless you are trying to get the audio and data from A SDS200 scanner to ProScan.
