ProScan: ProScan sds100

Hi all I've been trying to get audio to work with ProScan I'm getting a lot of feedback and the audio is echoing I've tried adjusting line in and audio out tried deferent cables and have tried deferent computers my sds100 works great with just an external speaker is there a specific audio cable for computers?

Stereo 3.5mm audio patch cable. And it usually requires a ground loop isolator in-line between scanner and pc.

You probably have the "Input Sound Device" set to "Mic" somewhere in ProScan.

I was thinking maybe this too when I heard “echo”. The next clue would be “ambient noise from the room”.

Yes. I don't believe the lack of one would cause an echo but would cause an annoying buzz.

So there is no open mic I think it's the cable its only when connected to pc. I have ProScan audio input to line in. thanks for the reply's.

Go to audio control, monitor and test and see if loopback is turned on.
