BUY.com has the lowest price, an incredible $158.99 with free shipping. Distributors are selling to dealers that sell on fleabay, prices in the $160's and $170's. Unbelievable.

I too have seen those prices and they are very good, considering all the great features the PSR-310 has,,,I paid $172 with the shipping for mine and am happy...Things must be changing in the scanner pricing world, as the psr-300 when released a few years back, had an average price of about $200. most places that sold it...and the Psr-310 has the same basic features as the Psr-500 minus the digital,,in addition to a few extra features .

no offense to some of the other fine scanner retailer's,but scannermaster is top's in the customer service dept. with all of the transaction's i've done with them,they have made it right every single time,on the few very minor issue's i've had. they price matched my psr-400 for me. they were also running a free shipping deal. i got my psr-400 for $159.99. i found another deal a day late for $149.99. oh well. like i've said many time's before, not affiliated with scannermaster,just a very,very satisfied customer !.

Well, once I was reminded of Scanner Master's low price guarantee (kudos again to you Oldglide) I couldn't resist. Ordered myself a 310

They must have been in a REAL good mood! I just did the same deal and they would NOT match the free shipping. They insisted that they NEVER match the shipping. This guy even went as far as to tell me that if I wanted to go with the competitor, that it was fine with him. The ONLY reason I went with them and I did not just hang up in his face was that BUY.COM has free shipping but it would take 5-7 business days to get here to my home. By getting it from Scanner Master, I will get it tomorrow since they are in Mass. and I am just next door in CT. It's not the $11.00 extra that bothered me, it was his attitude. EIther way I saved about $40 even with the shipping so I am happy about that. My baby should be here some time tomorrow afternoon.!!!!!!! I have already played with one that a friend of mine bought so I know EXACTLY what I am getting.........So, the moral of the story is; they DO match other competitors prices just not the shipping. Posted this so others would be aware.....Read below:

I hate paying for shipping myself, so I understand you there, but that's why I pulled the trigger before Jan. There wasn't even an inkling in my mind that they would match free shipping after Dec.
Anywho, looks like we both will receive our new toy tomorrow, I've been waiting for a week now. Good to hear more positive comments about the radio.

Happy New Year Tom, long time no talk! I will definitely post a review. My buddy could not part with his long enough to let me test it. LOL..That should say something! So far I can tell you that the display and the bright white backlight are awesome! Best display I have seen even on Ham portables! Stay tuned! I cannot believe there aren't that many reviews. Our local radio dealer (Lentini Communications) told me that they have not received any requests for the 310. That's strange! Either way, I will do my best to get all the details out there!

There's really not much to review, it's the same as the PSR500 but without digital and with a bigger screen. Great radio, I'm hoping a "PSR510" is coming along and I'll bite on that...
