I've been prepping V-scanners for my radio (not arrived yet), and trying to set up my scanlists for arrow-key browsing by reassigning the object numbers. To keep from stepping on existing numbers, I'm using block-sequential numbering in the 2000's and 3000's.
A couple of questions go along with this:
1 - How high a number can an object be assigned in this radio?
2 - I understand that a TSYS object requires 10 blocks, but I'm getting object numbers that are only 1 block above a TSYS object number. Just the 10 blocks in a TSYS be numbered in sequence, or will the radio assign any 10 blocks it has available?
I'm using Win500 for some functions and PSREdit for others, but have done the object renumbering in Win500.
