PSR-600 Scan List Names

I have named my scan lists using PSREdit. Are these names used anywhere by the scanner other then to download them to the PC software? It appears scan lists are only denoted by number rather then name.

When the scanner is in scan mode, you will briefly see the scanlist name (bottom line of display) when disabling/enabling a scanlist.

OK, that makes sense. I turned off the alternating text (made me dizzy )

Additionally, when stopped on a conventional channel the scanlist tag will alternate with the channel tag.

I tried turning off the alternating text and I liked it, but still prefer having it on. Adjusting the times made viewing easier on my eyes. I think I have it set to 75 for scanlist/system tag (default is 50) and 125 for the chan/TG tag (default 150).

I guess being a Ham I am use to seeing a static display. The alternating text was the first thing I disabled when I got my receiver. Drove me nuts watching it (a very short drive I might add)
