Hello
I have owned this radio for a little over a week now, I have the LED programmed to flash red/blue on a certain talk-group, the LED only works about 30% of the time in the dual flash mode sometimes not at all..Also having the radio ID not showing up as well..Anyone having this happen?

It sounds like conflicting settings as you found out. Set individually on a TGID, I see no problems with the LED flash here.

Still not working 100% on a simulcast system must be something with the decode rate of the system, also radio ID's don't show up sometimes..It only will do this on the simulcast system.

Hi Dan,

Probably not related to your question but:

1) Set up a scan list with your digi-trunk-simulcast system with all the bells and whistles. Lotssa flashing lights and sound.

2) Then, start from scratch and import, from the library, any sort of combination of channels, groups, systems, that includes ANY PORTION of your previous completed (bells and whistles) system. Give the list a new name, or save it as say "Scan List #22". Now, try to set new, different "bells and whistles" on that portion of the new list that matches part of your previous Scan List. No way, the same old settings are ALREADY attached to the TG's.

My opinion, no movement ever really takes place. All "everything" stays in the "Library". Little "post-it" notes are attached to Counties, systems, agencies, channels, TG's, sites, etc.

This is how you never run out of room in the memory chip. The only memory necessary is to save the "post-it" notes. Nothing actually leaves the "Library".

So no way to have different colors (as an example), on the same TG, in two separate Scan Lists. I might be wrong, but I would bet on it.

Rob
