With the PSR 500/600 a little over 3 year's old,I keep wondering if we can ever expect anymore firmware upgrades or is time to wait for new units besides the PSR 800?

Upgrades such as muting encrypted ID's,Radio ID's on a P 25 conventional system,my Uniden does this quite fine.

I gave up on the GREs just for the same reasons Kel stated. I just purchased 2 new unidens a BCD996XT and BCD396XT. I was a GRE man but not now. The Uniden P25 audio is also much beter than the GRE PSR500/600s. And I thought that I would never go back to Uniden.
