I am using PSREdit 500, and am trying to get more than the seven different colors that are default. I understand that I can change any of those original colors in any way, but my question is this; Is there a way to have say, 20 different colors for 20 different objects? As of now every time I set up an object with a color and save it and then change that color for a different object it changes the original color of the original object to this "new" color. I hope that makes sense. Anyway it seems like a waste of a potentially great resource color wise to be limited to just seven colors, even if those seven can be changed an infinite number of ways. Wouldn't it be cool to be able to have every color in the rainbow available for any group of objects one wants? If I am missing some way to do this please let me know what it might be, or if there's no way to do it please let me know either way. Thanks in Advance and Happy Holidays, T.T.

I'm using Win 500 so can't help with questions on other software. There are EIGHT colors possible at any one time, a constraint of the radio itself. You'll have to select your eight colors and go from there. You can add more information to the colored LCD's by selecting a flashing or steady alert with any of the colors. You can also select no alert at all.

Best to do it through the programming software like Win500. You actually end up with a color table. Much easier. And yes, you have like 63K possibilities for color varieties. Set kind of like M/S Windows colors by varying Blue, Red and Green amounts (0-256 each). Very flexible. TES is correct but you have major control over those colors for the main table for each of the eight.

Ok, guys thanks for the confirmation of the limit of eight colors overall due to constraints of the unit itself. Oh well. Appreciate the quick responses, T.T.
