I just purchases a Whistler 1065 scanner. I have downloaded PSREdit 1065 and have a premium membership to Radioreference.com. I live in Paulding County, GA and when I view the database on Radioreference.com I see three trunk systems:

System NameTypeCity
Georgia Fleet Talk (NXDN)NXDN NEXEDGE 4800Various
Greystone Power LTRLTR Standard and PassportDallas
Paulding CountyDMR Motorola Capacity Plus Multi Site (TRBO)Dallas

But when I import trunked systems into PSREdit500, the only one that shows up is the Greystone Power LTR. I have successfully programmed the scanner using PSREdit500 using conventional objects, but wanted to try it with trunked systems.

Am I missing something?

I'm everywhere Focker!
Gotcha, just figured that out. Is there a preferred scanner for those formats?

I try to avoid recommending anything, but in my opinion if you want to do trunked NXDN or DMR stick with a Uniden as they properly trunk-track those formats. For conventional DMR or NXDN I prefer Whistler.

Thank you for the information. This is a lot more complicated than expected. I have all the local frequencies in as conventional objects, but when a signal comes across the communications are full of static. Very hard to understand. I thought maybe the trunked dmr may be clearer as I think there is a transmission tower closer to me. I guess I have some more work to do to figure this out. May consider just putting a better antennae on the whistler or sending this one back and getting a something that can handle the trunked DMR.

One of the Uniden scanners, with the paid upgrades for DMR and/or NXDN, can correctly track DMR & NXDN systems.

In the Whistler series of scanners, the TRX-1 (handheld) and TRX-2 (base/mobile, as is your WS-1065) can receive DMR & NXDN systems, but will not correctly track them. If your systems of interest have a limited number of frequencies, and are not very busy, you may find the way they handle those formats meets your needs. However, remember that you cannot simply hold on a talkgroup on the Whistler scanners. They monitor DMR & NXDN systems based on the transmission's emissions, not based on the talkgroup. One of the Uniden scanners, with the upgrade, can hold on a specific talkgroup.
