I may be in wrong place on this forum, but I could use some help. I simply want to pick a particular broadcast on Radioreference.com ( New York or Boston Fire Dept) and put an icon on my desktop so that I can simply click it and hear the audio. I know how to go through AOL to be able to get to the broadcast, but cannot seem to find a way to set an icon. I am using Win 7 and Firefox. I would sort of appreciate a step by step guide, since I am a mid-level beginner.

You can use Firefox to create a shortcut on your computer's desktop to a page you've visited:

1.Resize the Firefox window so you can see both your computer's desktop and the Firefox window on the same screen.
2.Click on the site icon next to the Location bar, i.e. where the web address (URL) is shown.
3.While still holding the mouse button down, drag the pointer to the desktop, then release the mouse button. The shortcut will be created.

The same applies to Internet Explorer.
