I am looking to see if there is a list of agencies that use these channels like (example cold spring police )
question about Putnam county Putnam 911 East & Putnam 911 west

I have looked on the wiki site and it doesn't show what agencies are using theses channels
ok so that means that cold spring uses these channels also. does cold spring police have there own communication
They are a small part time police department. I would also try listening to the Putnam County Sheriff channels, as they might be dispatched by the Sheriff's Office.
Cold Spring PD ia dispatched by the sheriff’s office, operating on PCSO West and 911 West. They don’t have their own frequency
Also off topic does the trolly work off the put in county transit line radio channel
Honestly not sure if the trolley has a radio. If it does, it would be on the NYCOMCO system
I saw several radios and antenna on the trolley in cold spring over the weekend
Ah, OK. Been awhile since being on that side of the county. Then yes, they’re on the NYCOMCO DMR system
I have the system programmed into my scanner and I will see if I can hear them
They can be confusing. They identify sometimes by route, sometimes by bus number
Based on the information in this thread, the wiki has been updated to clarify confusion about Cold Spring Police and other Police units in the county. Thanks! Im open to any suggestions as well.
