I use 4-wire wireline configuration for IP based repeater networking. I have a DMK URI connected to my Quantar. I've set the Repeater operation to REPEATER, and the PTT priority to W-R-M-D-L. I've set transmit and receive to two different PL tones, and my Allstar computer to simple-usb, so it's receiving COR voltage level for squelch.
When on the network (wireline), everything works perfect. It sends out 91.5 tone when transmitting, and sends audio to the URI when it hears 107.2 at the receiver. My intent is to automatically have the Quantar act as a standalone repeater if it loses connection to the USB feed. Everything seems to work well except that when the repeater is transmitting on it's own (the receiver opens the transmitter instead of the wireline), it won't transmit a PL tone on the carrier, but on the wireline feed it will. My question is specifically, where in the RSS configuration do I go to enable TX tone when it's transmitting in standalone repeater mode?
Thanks in advance.
