Question: pa-starnet p25 Pennsylvania statewide?

Does anyone know if this comes in or what ? Another question: Pennsylvania 700mhz p25 air- ground ??? It’s showing in have signal but nothing on the air coming in ? I’m curious what these channels are . I’m new to scanning an just recently received a sds100.

they work keep listening you will hear comms on and off.

It works, in areas where agencies other than PSP are on it.

The 700 system is a bit of a different story. It's a lot more sparse, and used less. It's tuned for air operations, and hard to hear on the ground in many areas

Not sure about the Norristown area, but in my neck of the woods, the Starnet system mostly consists of PSP (full time encryption). Game commission can be heard at times. More users will come online in the future.

The 700Mhz system is mostly for air to ground communications. You probably might not hear much.

I've heard some ops on the 700 system from the "ground" (roof antenna) in the Norristown area. Not very active. Further discussion on the P25 statewide Starnet system is here. Only TG's in the clear I've heard thus far from the towers I'm able to monitor regularly were game commission. Lots of encrypted PSP traffic, they seemed to have moved over full time in SE PA
