Does anyone know how to program a U996T, from a U396,and it's software?

Did you download the Uniden Programming software (free) from the Uniden Product Support web site for the 996 and the 396? If so, you might be able to move the .usd files from one to another....but it's all listed and discussed in the referenced forum. Good luck.
