Could someone please clarify what the following terms mean?

Response Codes: Charlie, Delta, Echo (from the ones I've heard)

Two-Tone Paging and Station Alerting: Tone Intervals and which set/system of tones are they using?

Much appreciated as I'm not familiar with some of the new lingo they're using on the new system..

Thanks!

These are Medical Priority Dispatch response level codes...

Echo is most serious, non-breathing, choking, etc. Send nearest available unit with AED, as well as ALS and BLS

Delta is an advanced life support (ALS) call, such as severe respiratory distress, unconscious, active seizures

Charlie is an ALS call without extreme symptoms, such as chest pains, breathing difficulty, fainting

Bravo is a BLS call where conditions exist for the possibility of symptoms to worsen such as a vehicle accident, traumatic injury, a fallen patient

Alpha is minor BLS calls such as sick persons

Omega is a medical service call where a person is fallen or needs assistance but is not injured

These response modes are determined by the 911 call taker asking a series of questions from a card set or a computer program, and assigning the appropriate level based on the answers to these questions

WOW, I wasn't expecting that detailed of an answer.

Thanks!

Unfort. I'm not able to download links on http://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?tab=dl&ctid=1203 under section Pre-Defined Downloads due to non premium member. doh but I got the two pdfs at the bottom.

Myself and a friend are scripting a program to listen for two-tones, identify all info assigned to tones, spit out the station # and address, and eventually plot it on google earth lets say.. Then add which station is closest, maybe you will be able to enter address of incident (or unlikely grab it off the MDC automatically) and plot each distance to target..

also, here is what I found regarding tones... attached

thanks again
