I've just QK'd all of my favorites list on my new SDS200. I have 10 favorites, gave each one a number, 1-10. Top of the list is fire, so I gave it a # 1.

Turn the scanner on and ONLY fire shows it's "1" on the display, next to its name---none of the others show their QK number.

How do I get the other 9 favorites to display their number?

Many thanks for taking the time to respond!

If the favorites list has a quick key and it is On, you should see the quick key number in the display. You will see the quick keys only with the Detailed display. Press the favorites list quick key number and then E on the keypad to turn it on. In Sentinel, both Download and Monitor need to be On in the profile when you write favorites lists to the scanner. If Monitor is Off, the favorites list will not scan. You cannot assign the same quick key to more than 1 favorites list. If you do, the scanner will accept the first use of that quick key and then set the quick key of all subsequent favorites lists using that quick key to None.

TVENGR...I think I see what you're saying...but I don't believe that we are speaking about the same thing. My error.

Looking at the enclosed photo, you are referring to the upper L.H corner where I have the FO, SO and D1 and all the blinking numbers, 0-9. Is that right? Well, it was my fault that I was not specific enough. Sorry! ;-\

What I'm referring to is the "(1)" that you see in the photo next to the "RCS NEXTGEN (1)"

This is what I was asking about.

Check the way it's listed in the Database. It's imported from there, therefore what's displayed will echo what you see in the database - unless you modify it..

The number one you are talking about has nothing to do with the favorites QK. As stated above, What appears on that line is whatever the database has listed or whatever you have added as a description in Sentinel.

FLQKs are shown on the top line. 1-9 are enabled (1 is flashing and is currently active, and your photo captured it in the off flash)

The System Tag has nothing to do with Quick Key status. Personally, I prepend my tags with the QK number, but that is user-set.
