R20 scanning banks using dual watch

Guys,

Just got a R20.

Have freqs in Bank A and Bank B.

I want to scan Bank A on top and Bank B on bottom using Dual Watch,

I can get it to scan Bank A on top

But when I try to set scan on the bottom I do not get the option to select bank a-z but rather just ALL or BAND or PROG, No Band-A or Band-B option they way I do at the top.

I would really appreciate any advice on how to make this work!

No sooner do I post my message...I figured it out!

I have a lot of machines but this R20 dual watch thingy is great! Power scanning at its best.

Tom, you got some nice equipment....I have not used my R20 much, just got the software and want to get it set up. Was just playing with my AOR 8000 the other day, it's amazing how sophisticated the equipment has become.

I've been active in the hobby for over 40 years and I still enjoy it. It is even more fun when you get old enough to buy all the toys you want

The R20 is an interesting machine. It is not as sensitive as my Icom R7000 or Yaesu 9600 but it has some nifty features.

Yes on the R7000...I bought mine at a hamfest years back, no mods or service bench time. It performs as well as (if not better) than my AOR 5000. Would have loved to have a R20 back when I was in the military.

Holy cow! I never even thought of trying to scan two different banks with Dual Watch! I had set in just two different frequencies. Boy, do I feel silly...
