• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

Is there a Radio Reference App for Android or Ipod? I have seen several others out there but not one for radio reference. I would like to see one that SCANS. None offer that , that i am aware of at this time. Where you can program the streaming feed to have a scan option. Let me know if there is a IPOD app or ANDRIOID app that does this..

Action Scanner. It's an Ipod/Iphone app. Works great! Allows you to scan up to 4 feeds at once.
I 2nd that. There are others but this one has been the best. There is a lite version that gives you 2 banks of 3 and then the full version gives you, I think, 4 banks of 4.

He like I probably did but he was specifically looking for one that scans. Action Scanner is the only one that I'm aware of. And if you had bothered to look at it, You'd know it isn't on the wiki.

Happy Monitoring.
